Bungalowpark De Horn is located in the heart of the North Holland polder landscape in the centre of the village of Dirkshorn. The spacious park with lots of greenery is an ideal environment for recreation. The park has 92 stone and 249 wooden holiday homes. There is a walking forest, playing fields, a large pond, a tennis court and a football field on the park. You can enjoy, relax and wake up in peace and quiet among the many green areas that can be found on the park.
Bungalowpark De Horn is, due to its central location, ideal for many excursions, visits to various cities and nostalgic villages, events and of course for the beach with its dunes, forests and sea. Bungalowpark De Horn is also extremely suitable to enjoy your relaxation and rest in a healthy fresh environment.
The bungalow park is located in the middle of the North Holland landscape, where you can find the vast polder landscapes with the many colorful bulb fields. For cyclists, hikers, (sport) fishermen and peace seekers it is a luxury in this area.
Just a few kilometres from the bungalow park you will find the dunes, the beach and the sea, where you can sunbathe, play and of course swim.
In summer the sea is very attractive due to the many sunny days and in spring and autumn you can enjoy the impressive high waves.
Our mission
Without a mission, there is no direction, and without a goal, there is no progress. In a world turned upside down and where the environment continues to deteriorate, we take the initiative to make a difference. Our mission is clear: we aim to be completely energy neutral by 2030. It sounds like an ambitious goal, and it is, but what are dreams if you don’t pursue them?
We are currently busy installing solar panels and we already proudly have 529 panels on our park. Although this is an impressive number, it is not yet sufficient to cover our entire energy consumption. In addition to the solar panels, we have installed the first charging stations and we already drive electric ourselves. But we want to go further.
