🌿🦋 Herb strips along the water
At several locations along the watersides of Park De Horn, we have started creating colourful herb strips. With this project, we aim to contribute to greater biodiversity in and around the park.
The herb strips are being planted with a variety of flowers, herbs, and plants that attract bees, butterflies, and other insects. These insects play an important role in nature and help maintain a healthy ecosystem. In addition, the flowers and herbs add more colour and atmosphere to the park.
This gives nature more space while also creating a beautiful and natural appearance along the ditches and watersides. Over the coming weeks, the first plants and flowers will begin to appear. Some species bloom quickly, while others will continue to develop throughout the season.
With this project, we are taking another step towards a greener and more sustainable Park De Horn. We hope that our guests and owners will enjoy this natural development just as much as we do.
Skik Festival Dirkshorn – May 16, 2026
It’s finally happening again! On May 16, 2026, the lively Skik Festival will take place in Dirkshorn. A friendly, village-style festival where atmosphere, music, and togetherness are at the heart of the event.

With performances by Oôs Joôs, Boy Mitchel, and Team Rush Hour, it promises to be a fantastic day and evening full of energy and fun.
